Think am a grown-up
Because of the following reasons
Am above eighteen and shop off the gents' section
can watch A movies or drive a car
voice so hoarse drink at the bar
Look at the women and wave
daily have to shave
I think therefore i am
think am an adult
therefore i am.
Think am a child
Because of the following reasons
still wait eagerly for the festive seasons
chase a butterfly have a tear in my eye
yet to be self-dependant still time to earn my living
still lack responsiblities
thats not so about my sensibilities
though mom packs suitcase
know how to tie shoe-lace
I realise
from this small excercise
am in a transition phase
from childhood to adult
Though the other side of the fence
Always looks more green
the best years of life
Forever would be my teens.

Question of a question
I was a very reserved as a primary school student. I hardly ever did ask a question to teachers in school. I always accepted what was told to me. Perhaps, I had no clue as to what is the reason for ones existence. Life was so contented then not happy, protected not independant and man by nature develops only when independant.
Soon I was in 1st year college the very first class we were taught was the importance of a question.I still remember i always wondered what was the relevance of that lecture , I regarded it as a waste of time. But now 4 years hence, i realise the importance of that lecture.
All of a sudden it struck to me that man's civilisation or what man is today is because he has the ability to question. The ability to question others or himself . The ability of a man to think comes from his ability to question. One day an apple fell on Sir Isaac Newton's head, it was not the first time that an apple had fallen on a human beings head it was just that Sir Isaac Newton found a new question that day . A question that mankind would be proud of one day.
When in school we read about the renaissance age. It was not the age when catholics were superceded by protestants, it was the age when man began to realise the importance of question. He began to find 'how' and 'why' of things. It hence marked the beginning of a great era.
We may always undermine the importance of a question. You can win a war if you ask the right question. I firmly believe that it is not the answer that is correct but a question that must be correct. But then why are we asked to answer questions in examinations and not ask questions?
I certainly would not be able to answer why but yes i do have a question.
At job an employee told me we were short on some stocks which were detrimental to achievement of targets. I thanked him for his feedback but i also asked him as to what should be done to correct the same . He at that instance came off with a solution which we implemented and hence achieve our targets. If you really wish to change something then place the right question to your seniors or juniors. The solutions you would be suggested must be implemented and i am sure things will change.
When i was young someone told me that whenever you are in a fix or confused just take a blank sheet of paper and note the questions you have and then underneath write the possible solutions to it. Soon you will discover a way out and yes you will win over every situation. I am yet not very well versed in using this technique but yes whatever little i ever used i have been highly successful.
Hence, i wish that every individual asks more and more questions every minute and every second. A giant leap ahead may just be a question away.
